Today, the League of American Bicyclists recognized Schlegel Bicycles with a Platinum Bicycle Friendly Business (BFBSM) award, joining nearly 1,200 visionary businesses from across the country. Schlegel Bicycles was 1 of 2 awarded a Platinum Bicycle Friendly Business status for 2016 and first in Oklahoma to receive this honor.

With the announcement of 76 new and renewing BFBs today, Schlegel Bicycles joins a cutting-edge group of 1,197 local businesses, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies in 49 states and Washington, D.C., that are transforming the American workplace.

With an uptick in bike sales, Oklahoma City has seen more cyclists on the road, which means a healthier community. Schlegel Bicycles encourages bicycling as an easy option for transportation and provides amenities such as free bike repair stands across our metro and incentives such as free monthly bike maintenance and how-to class.
